For more than 120 years NAMIC has been serving in the best interests of mutual insurance companies – large and small – across the United States as well as in Canada. NAMIC is the largest property/casualty insurance trade association with more than 1,400 member companies serving more than 170 million auto, home, and business policyholders. NAMIC member companies write nearly $230 billion in annual premiums, and have 54% of homeowners, 43% of automobile, and 32% of the business insurance markets.

The Mutual Brand
A mutual brand program has been created for mutual companies to use voluntarily in distinguishing their place in the market. Participating companies can use fully produced, customizable, turnkey marketing and advertising resources for promoting their value as a mutual insurer to existing and prospective policyholders.
